When Physical Therapist Danny Matta and Competitive Olympic Weightlifter and Coach Joe Szymanek (Coach Joe) teamed up to launch their "Doc an Jock" podcast they were looking to create a community resource that they could pour their passion and years of expertise in to.
As the "Doc" of the duo, Matta taps his extensive military background as a practicing PT serving our troops, along with his current position as a member of the MobilityWOD staff to help listeners with improving their movement, relieving pain, and avoiding injury.
Coach Joe aka the "Jock" has spent the last few years competing as both a competitive CrossFitter and Olympic Weightlifter. Using his experience as both an athlete and coach, he brings his unique personality and wisdom of all things Weightlifting to the podcast.
The "Doc and Jock" podcast touches on everything from training tips, to different Weightlifting philosophies practiced around the world, to nutrition, to interviews with some of the most influential people in the CrossFit and Weightlifting industry.
